This has been an excellent internship experience and I couldn’t recommend the organization more highly! My time as a Digital co-lead intern at YOUTHinc has taught me a lot both professionally and personally. I have been able expand my skill set and strengthen the skills I possessed coming into this position. The various tasks I completed allowed me to understand what my strong suits are and what I want to work with in the future.

Being an intern at YOUTHinc has been an enriching experience! It allowed me to use and gain new skills, all while moving within the context of a culture which was new to me. I was given various tasks and could see how my work was relevant to YOUTHinc and explore different interests. At the same time I had the opportunity to build a network not only within Mongolia but with experts from all over the world. And finally, the spirit, kindness and helpfulness of the whole YOUTHinc team truly made this an experience I will not forget.

During my internship, I had a great opportunity to lead a marketing team and hone my leadership skills. Even if it was not related to my major, I learned a lot while completing various tasks and leading my team to achieve our goals. Just like most start ups, YOUTHinc gave me a freedom to think and do things in a creative way. I also get to work with HR team to recruit new employees which was really eye opening when it comes to giving an interview. But most importantly, I gained a new sense of professionalism and a clearer view of what it meant to be in the professional world.So, I would advise everyone to take the opportunity and do an internship, even if it is not necessarily in the industry that you wish to work in.

It was very interesting to work with people from other fields of study and there was a lot to learn. Working with people with different working principles and perspectives has given me more flexibility. In addition, YOUTHinc has a wide age range representation that allows for more range of perspectives. In addition, not only in Ulaanbaatar but also in rural areas and abroad, the participation of young people provides opportunities for all young people. I am confident that I will be able to create more value and improve my leadership skills as I become an internship program coordinator.

As a team adviser, I participated YOUTHinc's 6-month internship program. During this journey, we shared what we knew, learned what we didn't know, and had a very productive journey together. I am glad that there is a growing network of young professionals in Mongolia, especially students and graduating students looking for a new job, who can develop themselves, practice, prepare themselves for the job, and study together.

I'm so thankful that YOUTHinc has introduced me to new events, added different fields of experience, and collaborated with new people in my life. The internship has had a significant impact on my career, such as redefining my interests and reaffirming them. Maybe you have chosen a profession and are hesitant to make a decision. But we all are still learning even it's not accurate. So I want you to take some time and dare to try the internship program. In retrospect, I liked the fact that the team members were given a real opportunity to lead and do more than just talk. All of this seems to give me a new sense of great respect, especially for someone who led the team. I am confident that the 6-month program will add a whole new perspective to your future life principles and attitudes. However, where you go, no matter what program or training you take, it's up to you to keep developing and gain new skills.

Хөтөлбөрийн хугацаанд бусдадаа заан мөн тэднээс суралцаж, хувь хүний чадвар дотроо өөртөө итгэлтэй байх, илтгэх, зохион байгуулах, манлайлах чадваруудаа илүүтэйгүүр нэмэгдүүлсэн. Khulan G.Pilot 2 intern

When I started, I had absolutely no work experience in social media marketing. Over the six months, I had learned skills such as social media marketing, content creation, editing and writing. I also worked closely with other interns to organize events, which helped me improve my teamworks and made lots of friends. Overall, YOUTHinc internship program was truly an inspirational experience and helped me maximize my interest in becoming a marketer. If you want to apply yourself to gain knowledge about the social media marketing or anything else, this is the internship for you.

Working as an intern at Youthinc has been an amazing journey where I can gain many new experiences, knowledge and skills. The days of working together and exchanging ideas with my peers were interesting and I learned a lot, and I will continue to learn. This program opened up that opportunity for me, which is not always possible for those of us who study medicine. I have been studying as a scholarship student of Friends of Mongolia NGO since my 3rd year. Thanks to the generous people of this organization, I had the opportunity to participate in the YOUTHinc Internship program. This program helped me learn many things, such as learning from others (as an intern, I shared my interests and knowledge with others) and the role of a team leader (I learned a lot from Nomuunaa, who led our team), how to bring members together as one. I am sure that all this will be a lesson and experience for my future life.

As part of the cooperation between the sponsoring organization and YOUTHinc, scholarship students were included, and I thought I would participate in the program because I had not participated in the internship program before. I learned useful things by editing videos using mobile applications, preparing posters on Canva, reading information prepared by other interns, and also gained an understanding of the internship program and slightly improved my soft skills.

My internship at YOUTHinc has been a crucial step in my development of becoming a more skilled individual. When I started, I had absolutely no experience working on social media. In the time I was there, I had learned skills such as making posters for social media, writing a newsletter on Mailchimp, photo design and social media optimization. Aside from the technical skills, working with Baljaa so closely has allowed me to see the world through her eyes. She has introduced me to living a healthier lifestyle and becoming a more efficient worker. Overall, I’m glad I had the opportunity to work with such amazing people, and I thank them for teaching me not only work-related skills, but also personal skills that helped me land a current job position.

I first learned about YOUTHinc from the Youthspeak Forum organized by AIESEC Mongolia. YOUTHinc organization's activities were connected with our project, so we got interested in this program and started working. I understood the most that running away from a problem is not the right solution. If you have any problems, you need to ask and talk. For example, leading a team is not easy. The leaders of others teams probably know it. I was not a good team leader. I understood that I needed to openly discuss my problems with the person guiding me.

Throughout the program, the interns encountered various challenges. During the first season, we were able to learn how to work as a team, take part in marketing lessons, and promote the SDGs. Before joining the program, I had no idea what decent work was. In the second season, I had a chance to work as a coordinator of this program and we organized a study tour for young people. The participants visited various organizations and companies, and they were able to visit UN Mongolia and UN Agencies. It was an exciting opportunity for the youth, who have always wanted to know how international organizations work. In the program's last season, the interns organized a knowledge sharing session. These lessons were quite intriguing and gave me a deeper understanding about different topics. In addition to writing blogs, I was also able to improve my skills in organizing and knowing how to work efficiently. Thanks to YOUTHinc for making my days better in 2022.

Interns were divided into teams on the first day of the program. Our team members held our first meeting, chose our team name, and then started working on our first task together. Like yesterday, I still recall the first team meeting, the first task, and the first day of the internship program. Despite our best efforts, our team members could not complete our task before the deadline. Due to my obsession with finishing tasks before the deadline, I was extremely concerned about our team. One by one, the teams presented their tasks and explained them. When it was our team's turn, one of my team members started explaining our unfinished task. We received excellent feedback from program coordinators and were advised to complete the task as quickly as possible. This experience taught me one lesson: it is okay sometimes to be imperfect and incomplete. Through this internship program, I learned how to clearly express my opinions and ideas to other people: How to write an interesting blog, how to create a poster that is easy to understand, and what kind of pictures and keywords should be used to make my point clear? There were many challenges that I faced during my internship. There were many things I had no idea how to do and couldn't do. However, program coordinators helped me to stay strong. Their tips and motivating words encouraged me to keep moving forward. Thanks to everyone!

The most significant takeaway from my participation in this program was the importance of planning and responsibility. The weekly meetings were meticulously organized, which taught me the value of time management and the consequences of being late. The opportunity to not only study youth employment rights but also visit three organizations and witness the daily operations firsthand was invaluable. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn about the soft and hard skills required in a professional setting and realize the rarity of such opportunities. The individuals I met through this program were incredibly valuable and enlightening. I am confident that the relationships I formed with my fellow interns will be long-lasting. I would also like to express my gratitude to my sister Baljaa, who founded and implemented the program. The entire experience was one of the most meaningful months of my life and helped me gain a deeper understanding of various aspects of life.

During my 5-month internship, I was able to spend every month interestingly and productively. I also learned a lot from other trainees. I learned from one participant that persistence is a huge advantage. Although there were times when I felt discouraged and didn't want to do anything, I pushed myself a little and was able to finish this program. The internship program gives young people the opportunity to do many things, especially the basic skills needed by young people who have recently graduated from university, such as giving a presentation, delivering information in a clear manner to others, performing tasks on their own initiative, and working together in a team to see the end of a task. The YOUthinc intern program not only opened up opportunities for me to learn from my peers, but also helped me acquire many of the above-mentioned skills. Most importantly, it helped me to get to know myself better, what I can do, what I lack, and what qualities I need to develop. I am also very happy to have met many talented young people through this internship program.

My internship experience at YOUTHINC was valuable and enjoyable. During my internship I gained necessary skills like working as a team, presenting, drawing illustrations and other various skills. One thing I liked about YOUTHINC was after presenting your team work you will receive various feedback and improve yourselves on the feedback that you have received. Overall it was a pleasant experience and a memorable part of my life.

One of the most memorable and instructive moments of my life was definitely the “Study Tour” where I worked in the organization and participated in the training, gained beneficial knowledges, met great people, and learned from their vast experiences at the United Nations Generation Unlimited and Decent Jobs for Youth Enterprise. I’m sure that it made me more open-minded as well as receptive than before. I felt delighted to gain a better understanding of how to organize a big event in a neatly oriented way. Besides, after working as a team, my perspective changed to a broader one, and I realized that it is most important to be committed to something from the bottom of my heart. Thank you all so much.
