About YOUTHinc

YOUTHinc is the Association of Young Mongolian Professionals, a membership-based organization. "YOUTH" represents young people and "inc" represents incorporation, i.e. organizations — it is a bridge, platform and network organization that connects young people with businesses and organizations and helps them develop.
YOUTH INC. is a young professionals network that focuses on personal and professional development by promoting healthy lifestyle, quality education, decent work and global partnership. YOUTH INC. means YOU THINK. YOU(TH) INC.
YOUTHinc is Mongolia's career-connected learning engine — bridging the gap between what young Mongolians learn and what employers need.
A generation of Mongolian professionals — future-ready, competent, and resilient — building meaningful careers and lives, anywhere in the world.
Our Principles: Everything we do must have a strong focus on: connecting the right-minded and like-minded young professionals through meaningful engagement; collaborating with prospective employers and organizations with shared vision; promoting SDGs; particularly healthy lifestyle, quality education, decent work and global partnership; bringing international best practices and knowledge sharing; support strengthening the local, global partnership; using the right technology to our advantage; building more inclusive and sustainable network together!
Youth Inc. has been re-established due to the challenges of skills mismatch and competence gap in our labor market, fast changes of technology and coping with the "New Normal". On the other hand, there is a growing need of building more inclusive and sustainable network to bridge the gap between youth and employers to meet the requirements of ever changing future of work towards a better future!
Mongolia is a country of youth. 64 percent of the total population are young people under the age of 35, and 31 percent are youth aged 15–34, while young people aged 15 and over make up two-thirds of the total labor force. However, 50–60% of Mongolia's unemployed are young professionals with higher education, and the youth unemployment rate is high — the supply–demand gap in Mongolia's labor market. On the demand side, businesses and employers keep searching for "highly competent, high-performing" personnel who can add value to their companies, yet on the supply side suitable qualified personnel cannot be found; the competence level of Mongolian youth is lower compared with other countries in the world, leading to a mismatch of youth skills and competencies; health problems arising from young people's lifestyles; and it was observed that there are large differences of information asymmetry and gaps between perception and reality.
The Association of Young Mongolian Professionals NGO in America was founded in 2009 in the state of Virginia together with a few like-minded young people, and I served as its executive director. Doing networking in America, we successfully ran events, workshops, seminars and job fairs for Mongolian youth together with other organizations, and by 2012 our organization's website ranked No.1 on Google; representatives of large American companies such as Boeing, GE, GM and Rio Tinto reached out to us looking for Mongolian youth, and we were awarded "best new organization" by the Association of Mongolians in America.
For a country's economy to develop, the sustainable and inclusive availability of supply and demand is essential; therefore the participation and competence level of young people entering the labor market, their initiative to continuously develop themselves, and the cooperation and coordination among businesses, employer organizations and stakeholders are very important. Therefore our young professionals located in every corner of the world need to connect, unite, share with others what they have learned and what they can do, work together, and build a more competent, healthy and meaningful life, and further contribute to their country's future and development. It is also necessary to introduce Mongolian young professionals not only to the domestic but also to the international labor market and to help them compete with their competence. Our organization was established to create this opportunity. Therefore we will create value in our society and act as a bridge between youth and employers. We also join the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and in particular will carry out our activities based on Health (SDG-3), quality education (SDG-4), decent work (SDG-8) and partnership, and work to introduce international best practices to our homeland.

Work-life harmony

Work–life balance is the equilibrium between personal life and career work. Work life harmony on the other hand, allows your work to be a part of your life. This means that you can choose to be happy both at home, and at work! Work-life harmony is defined as a state in which an individual is able to achieve both personal and professional goals in a combination that is uniquely satisfactory. This differs across individuals as different people have different needs, responsibilities, values and priorities.
Make conscious choices. ... Work with passion. ... Prioritize working with people we like. ... Stay active and get rest. ... Don't let obstacles or limitations overwhelm. SHIFTING OUR FOCUS FROM BALANCE TO HARMONY We've been conditioned to think that true happiness lies in achieving a balance between our work and our personal lives. But with technology and the shift of work from something that pays our bills to a passion project, balance no longer means what it did 10 years ago. Instead, work-life harmony allows us to think about our lives differently. It becomes less about tipping an imaginary scale and more about the imaginary orchestra you can create.
