The MOU was signed between the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Union - Youth Committee (CMTU-YOUTH), the Young Employers' Association of MONEF (MONEF-YOUTH) and the Young Mongolian Professionals Association (YOUTH INC.).
Mongolia is a country of youth; more than two thirds of the population are under 35 years of age (NSO 2018). If young people are empowered, properly guided, and productive, they are the driving force behind the social development that accelerates positive changes, reforms and development opportunities. The youth of Mongolia, therefore, form a highly significant part of its economy.
We therefore sign this MOU between youth organizations representing the Employers and Workers to assist youth and young employers in the preparation of decent, stable labor relations and the future of work within the framework of Mongolia and UN Sustainable Development Goals and Decent Work for Youth Network Goals. The MOU was signed by Mr. E.Tamir, Head of CMTU-YOUTH, and Ms. Ch. Baljinnyam, Head of MONEF-YOUTH and YOUTH INC.
