Does anyone though about what is communication? And how it's working? I will answer and explain it.

Communication is when a speaker and a listener (or a reader) interact, influencing each other. This interaction helps build a complete and connected communication.

On October 5, 2024, during Daniel teacher and Tungaa helper of the class, I'm not only gained knowledge about communication skills and also learned how communication is formed, which made me feel extremely interesting. The way teacher teaching us was attracting, fun, and very satisfying, which I really liked. I would like to thank and express gratitude to our teacher for sharing and providing us with this knowledge.

So we discussed the transactional models have basic elements: participants, messages, encoding, decoding, and channels. These models help to better understand how communication takes place. In communication, the process of encoding (turning thoughts into messages) and decoding (transforming messages into thoughts) are the basis for interaction. We use different channels (like sight or sound).

We communicate not just to exchange messages, but to build relationships and communities. Participants are always talking and listening at the same time, reacting to each other in real-time. Context (social, cultural) is also important because it affects how we communicate and understand one another.

Communication is based on three main ideas:

  1. Communication is always happening, and both the people and their environment change over time.
  2. All parts of communication (sender, receiver, message) depend on each other and cannot exist independently.
  3. Everyone communicates based on their experience, education, culture, and self-esteem. Where we communicate (home, work or other.) significantly affects the communication process.

Everyone is both a sender and receiver at the same time, and communication affects all participants.
