I When I first applied for the internship, I thought I would be only learning and practicing my hard skills. But as the program continued, we practiced and improved our communication, soft, collaboration, and teamwork skills. I was excited to get out of my comfort zone and probe everything the internship had to offer.
The first season was about evaluation which was led by MEA and EvalYouth. Working as a logistics helped me with my management skills. During the internship, I learned the importance and necessity of evaluating and analyzing the performance of myself and others. Season 2 was about soft and management skills which was led by YOUTHinc. Interns shared their knowledge with others, and many interesting guest speakers gave a speech about various topics. My personal experience with the internship was overall fun, interesting, and useful. During my time, I was able to make numerous friends and expand my network by connecting with a wide range of people.
