In this blog, you can learn about the intersection between me and "Empowering Girls In Tech" internship program.

Empowering Girls In Tech… When I saw these words, I reminisced about my memories from last summer.

Last summer, I participated in Girls Code - 2022, a fully-funded coding bootcamp with 50 girls from all around Mongolia. When those 50 girls were united under one goal, they could do anything. I witnessed it myself. None of us had any knowledge of coding at all. Surprisingly, we had created our own games and web pages from scratch by the end of the program. I think this internship will also bring unexpected amazing results.

For girls with the same background as mine, who do not have any prior experience in the workplace, finding an internship is a complex problem. Thus, interning at Erxes, a well-known technology company with over 10 years of experience, while taking personal development courses from YOUTHinc, is an unbelievably good opportunity. I will do my best to use this amazing opportunity to its full extent. I have always wanted to see how real applications are developed and maintained, how thousands of lines of code are created, and how teams work together to build them. Also, I cannot wait to meet the girls who are interested in the tech field and intern together. I am looking forward to discovering new experiences, new people, and a new me.

I strongly believe that education is the key to a bright future for myself as well as my country. Mongolia's economy is directly dependent on the mining industry, which is not so appealing as it sells valuable raw minerals at the lowest price while destroying the nature surrounding the sites. I reckon that we are mining the wrong treasure. From the little experience I have, I have seen many aspiring youth with insane potential. If we invest in those people, I am sure it will significantly help the current fragile economy of our beloved country.

My ultimate goal is to start up the first world-known unicorn company in Mongolia. It may sound too delusional. However, if we accomplish this goal, I cannot even imagine the amount of positive outcomes for our country and us. Mongolia's annual GDP is around 15 billion dollars. On the other hand, Canva, a design tool company, is worth more than 30 billion dollars. This simple comparison means a lot more than I can explain.

Currently, I am taking a gap year to apply to the top universities all over the world. If you study in a foreign university, especially the best one, you will have countless opportunities to develop yourself both academically and individually. In my application to those universities, internship experience is a great factor since it shows my passion in my major.

I am slowly walking toward my goal step by step. I hope that this internship will help me take the biggest step on that path.
