Internship Pilot 2
July–December 2021, online and in person, with the first study tours to partner organisations. Graduated on Christmas Eve 2021.
About the program
The second trial ran from July to December 2021, blending online and in-person work. It added the first study tours — short visits to member, partner and supporter organisations of the Decent Work for Youth Network, so interns could see how real organisations are structured and run.
Interns in Ulaanbaatar celebrated graduation together on Christmas Eve, 24 December 2021, with those in the provinces and abroad joining online — “a journey full of memories, learning from each other and together.”
What changed from Pilot 1
- Study tours to organisations became part of the programme
- Hybrid delivery: weekly online meetings plus in-person events
- Graduates went on to coordinate later cohorts — Pilot 4's general coordinator was a Pilot 2 graduate
In participants' words
I started with zero experience in social media marketing — six months of content, editing and events later, it was inspirational, and grew my interest in becoming a marketer.
Working alongside people from completely different fields was the most interesting part — taking on real responsibilities helped me build confidence, public speaking and leadership.
When I started, I had absolutely no work experience in social media marketing. Over the six months, I had learned skills such as social media marketing, content creation, editing and writing. I also worked closely with other interns to organize events, which helped me improve my teamworks and made lots of friends. Overall, YOUTHinc internship program was truly an inspirational experience and helped me maximize my interest in becoming a marketer. If you want to apply yourself to gain knowledge about the social media marketing or anything else, this is the internship for you.
Жил гаран хугацаанд хөл хорионд байсан миний хувьд энэ хугацааг ашиглаж анх дадлагын хөтөлбөрт хүсэлт илгээсэн. Ийнхүү өөрийн суралцдаг салбараас өөр өөр чиглэлийн хүмүүстэй хамтарч ажиллах нь хамгийн сонирхолтой байсан. Тодорхой үүрэг хүлээж, төрөл бүрийн зүйл хийн өөрийгөө сорих нь өөрийгөө таньж мэдэх бас нэгэн алхам болж чадсан. Хөтөлбөрийн хугацаанд бусдадаа заан мөн тэднээс суралцаж, хувь хүний чадвар дотроо өөртөө итгэлтэй байх, илтгэх, зохион байгуулах, манлайлах чадваруудаа илүүтэйгүүр нэмэгдүүлсэн. Хөтөлбөрөө үр дүнтэй амжилттай дуусгасандаа сэтгэл хангалуун байна.
